Singapore and Hong Kong are small agency markets: the census has mapped 1,038 agencies in Singapore (of an estimated 2,300) and 622 in Hong Kong (of about 1,500). Their profile, though, is the most enterprise-oriented we have seen.
What they sell
- In Singapore, 383 agencies offer consulting, 372 ERP/CRM integrations and 325 AI services, close behind web (687).
- In Hong Kong, 365 offer consulting, 273 AI services (44% of the agencies) and 271 ERP/CRM integrations.
In Spain, by comparison, ERP/CRM integrations appear in fewer than one agency in five.
The software
Both markets mix eCommerce with enterprise suites:
- Singapore: WordPress 188, Shopify 132, WooCommerce 93, HubSpot 70, Salesforce 68, Magento 62, Microsoft Dynamics 365 55, SAP 47, Odoo 43, NetSuite 29.
- Hong Kong: WordPress 129, Shopify 85, WooCommerce 61, Wix 45, Magento 39, Odoo 29, Salesforce 27, HubSpot 24, Dynamics 23, SAP 23.
Size and clients
Hong Kong agencies are larger: the most common size is 11–50 people, and 14 agencies have between 201 and 500. 59% of Hong Kong agencies have clients identified by name, mostly in education, real estate, retail, health, insurance and banking.
For vendors
Both cities are regional hubs: an agency in Singapore often serves Malaysia, Indonesia or the Philippines, and one in Hong Kong serves the Greater Bay Area. For B2B, CRM, data or AI vendors, a handful of the right partners here opens a whole region.
